Smoked Porter Ham Glaze
Ingredients:
1 ham
1 16 oz. bottle Alaskan Smoked Porter
Glaze:
½ cup Alaskan Smoked Porter
2 cups brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon coriander, ground
1 Tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon orange zest or orange peel, dried
½ teaspoon cloves, ground
¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
Instructions:
Pour one bottle Smoked Porter over ham and bake as directed, removing ½ hour before end of cooking time. Drain liquid.To prepare glaze, combine all the glaze ingredients into a small saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour over ham and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Serve with sweet potatoes and glasses of Alaskan Smoked Porter.
