Amber Linguine & Clam Sauce
Ingredients:
5 - 10 garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup olive oil
1 bottle Alaskan Amber Beer
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup chopped steamed clams
1 cup whole steamed clams
juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup clam juice
freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
Saute garlic and onion in oil until soft. Add 1/2 bottle of Alaskan Amber Beer and parsley. Reduce to half. Add chopped clams and remaining beer, reduce to half. Add whole clams, clam juice and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add fresh lemon juice and pepper to taste.Serve over fresh cooked linguine with Alaskan Amber to accompany your meal.
